We are seeking an Associate Program Manager with a Bachelor's degree in arelated field of study to manage program budget, schedule, and earnedvalue functions. You'll be responsible for the cost,schedule, and technical performance of our programs. You'll coordinate thepreparation of proposals, business plans, labor and non-labor budgets,schedules and subcontracts. You will act a point of contact for programrequirements, and lead program Earned Value review sessions to discusscost, schedule, and technical performance.Primary Responsibilities Include:*Responsible to provide centralized planning, direction, and controlrequired to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals throughout thelife-cycle of assigned programs*Monitor, update, and report on Program(s)/BandP/IRandDperformance/status in accordance with the Integrated Product DevelopmentProces*Support program reporting requirements and perform other duties as assigned.*Serve as key proposal team member for follow-on business and/or newbusiness opportunities related to program areas. The proposal team isresponsible for successfully completing the SNC proposal process to includedeveloping the strategy for successfully completing the proposal, developingall proposal review data for executive management approval, and ensuring thetechnical, cost, and management requirements of the proposal are met.The Space Systems business area, based in Louisville, Colorado withoperations in Madison, Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, designs andmanufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmentalsystems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government(including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations.Must-haves:Bachelor's degree in a related field of studyA higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExperience working through program life-cyclesExperience with BandP and IRandD to monitor, update, and report on programsProposal experience to support follow on business and/or new businessopportunities related to program areasPreferred:PMP certificationIMPORTANT NOTICE:To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicantmust be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protectedindividual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtainthe required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S.DepartmenAt Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technologyand best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
