Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle CX Sales is looking for an experienced product manager to join the application Platform team to put these capabilities into practice. This team focuses on developing the frameworks, patterns, and core capabilities that customers need to extend, configure, integrate, secure, and manage the CX Sales product to meet their specific business needs. Your mission is to translate your customer, market and competitive insight into initiatives to develop innovative products customers want to buy and love to use. As a member of the Oracle CX Sales Product Management Platform team, your specific charter will be to:
Ensure customers can successfully customize and integrate the CX Sales application, using standards based technologies and interfaces
Define high priority extensibility and integration scenarios that align with customer demand and Oracle strategic markets, and then specify and drive development and enhancements to the product framework accordingly
Work with organizational counterparts to specify and drive development of core architectural and framework features
Interact directly with customers, partners, and Oracle’s internal sales teams to evangelize CX Sales’ extensibility and integration capabilities, support and validate consumer’s approaches and solution architectures, and gather and translate feedback from the field into future product requirements
The successful product manager will:
Have a strong technical background. Previous experience with enterprise application configuration tooling or processes, integration development, or coding experience is a plus.
Be hands on, able to design and implement enterprise architectures, integrations, and associated demonstrations
Be able to identify product gaps and create development specifications
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and thrive in group settings
Have the ability to work in a matrixed team, and be a vital individual contributor fully responsible for a given design area
Have experience with the entire product development lifecycle (especially Agile/Scrum), as well as software implementation experience. Development or implementation experience with front office applications such as sales or service is a plus.
Employ a persistent and transparent prioritization process that leads to clear rational product roadmaps
Identify and document best practices for field implementations
