Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company s firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.

The Security Intelligence and Vulnerability Management team supporting the Global Business Units is looking to add a talented Security Analyst to the team to help support and grow our vulnerability management program.
This position will specialize in tooling, automation, and process enhancement affecting the existing vulnerability management program as well as other business-as-usual security processes.
You will be working with a talented group of professionals responsible for discovering and reporting operational risk as well as recommending and validating remedial action in our cloud hosting environments.
The candidate must possess a working understanding of the kinds of vulnerabilities that can impact all layers of a hosted environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and have the ability to perform problem resolution and make process improvements.
Candidate must be proficient in at least one of the following scripting languages: Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell.
Candidate must be willing to learn additional scripting languages as required.
Intermediate working knowledge of SQL database systems.
5 years of experience in information security or a security-adjacent technical field such as application development or network or systems engineering.
Solid understanding of information security principles and IT infrastructure including operating systems, applications, communications and network protocols.
Advanced understanding of both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
Good understanding of network infrastructure and workflows
Good understanding of enterprise application architecture models
Prior hands-on experience with vulnerability management software (Nessus/Nexpose/Qualys) preferred
Proficiency in writing technical analysis reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Five (5) years relevant experience is a must. BA/BS degree preferred.
