Currently due to ourfast growth we are looking for a Principal Software EngineerPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software andsystems that contain logical and mathematical solutionsConducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designersand/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, andutilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercialsoDetermines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolveproblems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition,programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions;designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operatingEnsures software standards are metElicit, derive, and document software and/or system requirements to meetinternal or external customer specificationsDefine software/and or system architecture, design software modules, andproduce associated documentation per corporate or customer standardsWrite and test software modules and integrate with other software and/orhardware componentsADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hoursOther duties as assignedANTICIPATED LABOR UTILIZATION:Review Anticipated Labor Utilization as applicable to position as stated inthe Business Area Labor Utilization MatrixCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such asTime Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews,Succession Planning, etc.Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team trainingFUNCTIONS:Desire expertise in embedded real-time flight software design andimplementation, RTOSs including VxWorks.
