Description
SUMMARY: The primary role of this position is service program project management. Under direction of the Service Project Manager, this includes coordination of cross functional team members’ activities to meet the prescribed project requirements, schedule, and customer expectations. This position also facilitates project communication between Service, the customers, and other company departments. The Project Administrator will hold responsibility for the program/project action plan. This position will also hold responsibility for configuration of hardware associated with system installation. As project schedule allows, the Project Administrator will provide technical support to internal and external customers.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain and execute detailed action plans for each program or project. * Schedule and facilitate all necessary internal and external meetings and record discussions. * Communicate with customers, technical experts, consulting engineering firms, sales people, and regulatory agencies. * Generate project status reports as necessary. * Monitor bookings reports to initiate system installation projects. * Requisition materials for system configuration. * Perform system configuration and document all required information associated with configuration. * Maintain accurate configuration stockroom inventory. * Maintain development related documentation and the project history file. * Utilize and help improve systems. Utilize GCS feedback process to report identified quality issues and customer complaints. * Identify and inform the Service Management team of obstacles that hinder action plan execution. * Troubleshoot obstacles that hinder action plan progression through identification and pro-active plan development and execution at the team level. * Create and improve standard work to guide program/project management, and system configuration. * Travel as necessary to aid in project facilitation.



As project schedule allows: * Utilize general application knowledge of industrial and municipal wastewater processes, as well as Hach products, to provide technical support and troubleshooting via phone and email to internal and external customers. * Document customer calls and escalate to appropriate functions as needed (technical support, field service dispatch, etc.) * Assist customer during system installation to ensure the system is set up according to Hach documentation, including mechanical, power, and signal requirements.

Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, related field, or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cross functional project management * Familiarity with Hach products and services preferred * Demonstrated vision for change and continuous improvement * Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of, and adherence to a project schedule * Strong focus on the customer and meeting customer needs * Basic knowledge of customer support processes (i.e., pricing, returns, delivery, etc.) * Computer skills (Microsoft Office, graphics, etc.
