Location(s): Remote, Anywhere in the United States. Candidates from HUBZones (https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map#center=39.828200,-98.579500&zoom=5) strongly preferred.

Position Summary:

The SharePoint Developer will leverage his/her experience with SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 apps (MS Power Apps), and JavaScript to provide government customers with well-designed SharePoint sites, workflows, and dashboards. The SharePoint Developer will create hybrid solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint online, power automates tools, and writing JavaScript code to create custom forms and interact with the SharePoint lists and libraries.

To be successful, SharePoint Development will do the following:

  • Interact directly with the customer to understand the end-user functional problems and translate them into structured requirements that meet a specific business need;

  • Participate in software requirements gathering, preliminary and critical design review, integration readiness review, and finale solution acceptance review;

  • Use knowledge of SharePoint platform functionalities to create a tailored solution around the customer's needs;

  • Develop custom solutions, workflows, and dashboards, including but not limited to Dashboard Reporting using JavaScript, and;

  • Write JavaScript code to control the data validation process.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree (Required)

  • Years of experience: 5 Years of experience (Required)

  • Technical Skills:

  • Experience developing software solutions and familiarity with multiple software programming languages.

  • Experience designing, testing, debugging and documenting f business systems and applications.

  • Significant experience with JavaScript, SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online
