Sr. Systems Engineer II
Schriever AFB CO
Provide technical expertise and support in developing complex algorithms for evolution of discrimination solutions in support of new BMDS capabilities as part of the C2BMC Track Server Product Team. While the primary focus will be on algorithm development, the candidate will also be expected to contribute to requirements, software, and testing of the Track Server component.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of software/systems engineering experience
Extensive experience working in the missile defense domain, specifically in tracking, discrimination and related algorithms.
Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions
Demonstrated experience in algorithm development, troubleshooting, analysis, and one or more of the following areas: system analysis, design, modeling, simulation, integration or test
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience performing trade studies, requirements development, engineering design as well as software development processes and modeling
Direct experience with BMDS radar systems (LRDR/TPY-2, etc.) either direct or indirect
Experience using C2BMC processes and methods
Experience in developing Algorithm Description Documents (ADDs) and related Systems Engineering products. Experience with Agile development methodologies\
Experience with algorithm development
Familiarity with MATLAB and its use in prototyping/developing algorithms
Education Required:
Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college plus 6 years of hands on experience
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements (Security + CE, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA - Security)

Salary Range: $95,675 to $129,225
