Description of Duties:
The ArcSight Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Perform standard O&M activities for the ArcSight Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) infrastructure supporting the MDA on the IRES contract in Huntsville, Alabama or Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Have responsibilities with the ArcSight SIEM infrastructure that include:
Perform daily reviews of Windows and Linux systems to include patch administration activities, audit log reviews, ensure normal maintenance functions are performing properly as well as implementation of daily/weekly system health checks in both test and production environments.
Review and respond (as appropriate) to break/fix incidents.
Participate in process review.
Assist with application installations and upgrades.
Perform periodic database maintenance.
Comply with the standard IT Services processes for system change requests.
Have additional duties that may include assisting with Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) application support.
This position can be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.
This position is expected to pay $80,400 - $138,225 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 10 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 8 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 6 years of general experience; Master's degree and 4 years of general experience.
Must have 6 years directly related experience
Must have experience administering an enterprise level SIEM
Must have, or obtain upon hire, a current DoD 8570 IAT level II certification
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Have experience managing Windows and Linux servers
Have knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, DHCP, DNS, MySQL log management
Have knowledge of ArcSight, Splunk, HBSS, and ACAS systems
Have experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management
