These labs support a mix of product, application, and solutiondevelopment and test. Testing includes functionality and a variety ofperformance and capacity testing and certification activities, oftenrequiring definition, development, and support of a surrounding testenvironment. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our lab teamto be a part of the consolidation planning, execution, and then to be aleader in the ongoing lab management and "futurization" activities.#Li-NA1About the requirementBasic experience with networking required, desire vLAN and router experienceStrong understanding of data storage management ( SAN technology - NIMBLE,Equallogic )3+ years' experience working in the VMware application suite and mediumsized virtualized environments (>>100 hosts, 1,000s of VMs)vSphere 6+ administration and setupESXi host managementvCenterclusteringbackups / troubleshootingScripting / APIsusers, user groups, and permissionsrequirements - contdHighly proficient in the administration of Windows and various Linux flavorsExperience in KVM administration is a plusWill work with RandD operations leaders, local and remote product developersand testers, and other Avaya site contacts to meet their needs whileidentifying viable alternative optimal implementationsComfortable in your people skills and excellent communicatorSkillful negotiator when working through architectural concepts and proposalsAdept in documenting proposals and final plans - using Microsoft tools such asWord, Excel, and VisioWill require some hands/eyes/feet activities for remote teams includingracking, cabling, plugging in USBs or DVDs,Willingness to learn via online learning and self-explorationCandidates must have a can-do attitude - you will be given latitude andsupport to investigate and trial new technologiesEducationBachelor degree or equivalent experienceMaster degree or equivalent experiencePreferred CertificationsFooter).Avaya is an Equal Opportunity employer and a U.S. Federal Contractor.
