Join our mission as a Channel Sales Operations Intern in our 2020 Summer Internship Program. Help us support the operational needs of our Channel Partner Program where you’ll have the opportunity to work with teams and partners from around the globe.
Provide support to Sales team and partners for program questions, partner portal access/trouble shooting, sales and marketing requests, and more.
Assist with partner recruitment and onboarding activities
Support ongoing reporting needs, including execution of Mid-Year Performance Reports, Partner Conference Business Reports, and Annual Business Plans.
Conduct competitive and industry research to provide recommendations for program improvement and coverage.
Identify topics for e-newsletter and other communication efforts, as well as creating and editing written content.
Manage partner portal operations including alerts, polling, access, and overall partner portal use/adoption
Work with Global Channel team to develop web content to improve awareness of partner program
Gain first-hand international business operations experience
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be a rising Sophomore or higher, enrolled in a 4-year or graduate-level university program, and majoring in Business, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, or related field.
3.0 GPA or above
Interest in the geospatial and location-based services industry and the markets Maxar serves
Strong writing, organization, and research/analytical skills
The ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams and independently when necessary
A motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
