TheFellowship Program - Colorado School of Mines is designed to span twosemesters and over the summer break.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform work under close mentor guidance including but not limited to:Development of embedded softwareOO design techniquesUser interfaces (Windows, Android) to control/monitor solutionsNetwork securityGain knowledge regarding cellular technology (GSM, CDMA, UMTS,LTE), network or communications protocol programming, design patterns,embedded SW development, Linux-based SW development, Windows user interfacesParticipate in large and complex projects due to the duration of theFellowship InternshipTravel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessaryUnderstand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policiesProactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policiesand proceduresPerform other duties as requiredObtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required toperform the duties of the positionSkills and Knowledge:Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, flexibility and ability to work in a teamenvironmentDemonstrated effective teamwork skillsMinimum program commitment of two semesters and summer breakKnowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applicationsas requiredWork is typically performed in an office environment which requires propersafety precautions.
