Try it out for free at .The opportunity is for you to join the SketchUp team as a Quality Assurance(QA) Manager for the teams that support our Desktop app. You should haveexperience with bringing a shift-left QA mindset into an organization and haveexperience with transforming a Desktop team to this mindset using testautomation. You should be highly skilled, motivated, collaborative -- andpretty low-key about it all. Our core technologiesin spatial positioning, modeling, connectivity and data analytics enablecustomers to improve productivity, quality, safety, and sustainabilityin design, architecture, and construction.Responsibilities:Hire great QA engineers and maintain an exceptional onboarding program.Perform regular 1:1s to share and seek feedback.Lead development of OKRs and tracking of KPIs for QA organization.Be a leader in the organization for best practices with respect to QAprocesses.Coordinate with Product Managers and Engineering Managers on releaseschedules.Coordinate QA processes for the Desktop app across several teams.Coordinate Desktop releases by owning release tasks, tracking betafeedback, declaring release builds, and delivering release notes.Identify process or automation changes to challenge the team to thrive.Lead the design of a world-class automation plan to further enable ashift-left QA process.Required Skills/Experience:BS/BA technical degree or BS/BA non-technical degree with 2 years oftechnical experience in software.At least 5 years as a manual or automation tester.At least 2 years managing direct reports or at least 4 years as a team leader.Strong communication skills, team orientation.Familiarity with Agile software development.Experience with automation testing tools for Desktop apps like Squish orSikuli.Bonus Skills/Experience:Real world experience in the Architectural or Civil Engineering field.Proficiency with 3D/2D modeling and visualization software.Experience with localization testing.Trimble Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative ActionEmployer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard torace, gender, age, color, religion, national origin, maritalstatus, disability, sexual orientation, status as a covered veteran inaccordance with applicable federal, state and local laws, or any otherprotected factor.
