Programs supported arefor applied research and technology in an advanced networking andcommunication organization that supports U.S. Government DoD, Civilian,and Advanced Programs communities.Duties and Responsibilities:* Coordinate technical solution for customer requirements and mission* Work with team members to provide direction, technical guidance, actionitem tracking and project status reporting* Plan and schedule project commitments and coordinate staff memberassignments* Provide team leadership and reviews for assigned projects* Prepare monthly progress reports to be submitted to customer* Prepare and deliver customer briefings on project plans and status* Coordinate with both internal and external suppliers and partners to ensuremeeting schedules and cost constraints* Develop and manage program schedules and budgets including working closelywith all functions (hardware, software, mechanical, test and manufacturing)* Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary* Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies* Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policiesand procedures* Perform other duties as required* Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required toperform the duties of the positionSkills and Knowledge:* Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer focused leadership in thedelivery of technically complex solutions with a highly skilled team* Demonstrated ability in managing challenging customer engagements* Experience with managing government programs* Experience in managing multi-discipline technical teams* Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel and Word* Experience with bug tracking databases, such as Bugzilla* Strong communication and influence skills* Knowledge of digital signal processing, wireless communications, andembedded platforms* Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applicationsas requiredMinimum QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, orPhysics and 6-8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination ofeducation, skills, and experience.Working Conditions:* Work is typically performed in an office environment which requires propersafety precautions.
